# Crafting Recipes & Examples ## Workbench {% hint style="info" %} The Workbench is where most of the items are being crafted on. So make sure to get one as soon as possible! The log type does not matter you can use any. {% endhint %}

The Workbench works almost the same way as the stonecutter. If you have JEI installed, you can also look up the recipes there!

*** ## Items {% hint style="info" %} The following section is about the 4 different Items that you can use to adjust the way your Items are being displayed. In the following sections i will add little icons that indicates what Items you can use there! {% endhint %}

### Controls Overview * **Hammer** * Press **Shift**** + ****Right-Click** to use. * **Other Tools (Protractor, Ruler, Magnifying Glass, Tweezer)** * Hold in main hand to enable GUI. * Press **Shift + Scroll Wheel** and **Right-Click** to interact. * A contextual GUI appears (default: bottom-left). * Reposition the GUI by pressing **,**. * Protractor and Ruler modes can be cycled through by pressing . * When pressing **Right Alt** while holding the Ruler you toggle XZ Split mode this allows you to also control X & Z separate from each other. - Remove glass from a Glass Cloche
- Cycle Rack A/B/C/D positions

- Shift the displayed item along the XZ plane or the Y axis
- When having XZ Split Mode enabled you also can shift X & Z plane individually

Only when you have the Ruler in Horizontal Mode you are able to change the X & Z coordinates.

PLEASE NOTE while having XZ Split mode enabled and being in Horizontal mode there is no way to go back to Vertical Mode until you disable XZ Split first then change to Vertical and enable XZ Split again if needed. I know it is a bit clunky control wise, but trust me you will get used to it.

- Allows to select item slot of display block with multiple slots

- Selected slot can be modified via other items like the Ruler, Protractor or Magnifying Glass

| *** ### How to use the items {% embed url="" %} *** ## Glass Cloches {% hint style="info" %} Glass Cloches are being used to display your Items. You can remove the Glass part by using a Hammer. In the recipe below you can use any vanilla carpet color to get the corresponding Glass Cloche.\ Since version 1.0.1 you also can stop and resume the hovering animation by right-clicking the cloche with a vanilla minecraft clock. {% endhint %}

All these Items can be used on the Glass Cloche.
The Ruler however can only adjust the Y Direction

Item will slowly rotate and will go up and down. Any Item can be placed. If you place any skull item it will look at nearby players.

*** ## Katana Stands, Wall Holders & Racks {% hint style="info" %} Katana stands, wall holders, and racks come in every vanilla wood type and are all crafted on the Workbench.\ \ The Katana Stand was also added in my other Mod [Fetzi's Asian Decoration](https://app.gitbook.com/s/aAIRfKCCNVt0qTrGFgSD/#katana-stand) so if you have both installed i would suggest going for the one of Fetzi's Displays since it has more options for customizing. {% endhint %}

*** {% hint style="info" %} Wall Holders can only be placed on Walls. They also come in every vanilla woodtype. When right-clicked with a gold ingot they get a plaque that displays the item name. {% endhint %}

All these items can be used on the Wall Holders

*** {% hint style="info" %} Racks can display varying numbers of items and come in four types (A, B, C, and D), each available in every vanilla wood variant. {% endhint %}

By default only the Hammer can be used, but by using the Tweezer
you can select each slot of the rack and use the other items as well

*** ## Horse Armor Stand {% hint style="info" %} With version 1.1.0 Horse Armor Stands were added. As the name already says these are used to display any kind of Horse Armor. Available in multiple wood types. {% endhint %}
